Baptism of Jose Nasario Gamboa, 1785

Below is the LDS microfilm info for the christening of Jose Nasario Gamboa. He was the son of Pedro Jose Gamboa and Ana Maria San Miguel and was baptized in Monterrey on 05 August 1785. Almost exactly one year earlier, there is a record for another Jose Nasario Gamboa with the same parents on 07 Aug 1784. It is not yet clear whether these are the same person or are two children with the same name born about a year apart. Later, when the family lived near Burgos, a child of Pedro & Ana’s named Jose Adriano Nasario Gamboa died at the age of 8, which makes his birth date 1785, the same as the child in this record. There was also another son Adriano, who lived to adulthood and married in 1803, and that person’s birth year was about 1783, close to the age of the first Nasario. So it is entirely possible that the two Nasarios in Monterrey both existed, may possibly have both been named Adriano Nasarios, and lived long enough to move to Burgos with their parents.

In any case, because these records are not online, I have not had the chance to obtain an image to post nor seen or studied the records for clues.
