Cerda – 1900 Hidalgo Co Census

Hidalgo County, Texas
1900 Census

27, 27
Cerda, Estevan, head, 1876, 24, single, grocer, can read and write, but not speak English

28, 28
Cerda, Chono, Head, 1873, 29, stock herder, Tex, Mex, Mex
“, Tules, S, wife, May 1877, 23, married 4 yrs, 1 ch, 1 lvg, Tex, Mex, Mex
“, Francisco, son, July, 1897, 2

NOTE: Both are believed to be sons of Donaciano Serda. Chono is believed by some to be the same person as Encarnacion Serda, but he is actually be a completely seperate person. They are both enumerated seperately with their families in Hidalgo County in 1900, which proves they are different men.

NOTE: My notes say this is the 1910 census, but the ages and birth years make it clear that it is 1900.
